St. Machar's Cathedral

Our regular concert venue is St. Machar's Cathedral. You can E-Mail the Cathedral. St. Machar's Cathedral Choir is closely associated with Aberdeen Bach Choir, as several singers are members of both choirs. If you would like to join St. Machar's Cathedral Choir, please contact Margaret Downie for more details, or speak to the conductor after a morning service (Sundays from 11am).

St. Machar's Cathedral's musical tradition has been extended with the addition of St. Machar's Cathedral Junior Choir.  The choir is for boys and girls aged between 7 and 16.  Their conductor, coincidentally, is Margaret Downie!  If you/your children are interested in finding out more about the choir, contact Margaret or turn up to a rehearsal - Fridays from 5:30-6:30pm (during local school term-time) or visit http://thisisnorthscotland.co.uk/Juniors.  The choir also sing on the third Sunday of each month and at other events such as weddings.
